Project Name: Jackie Robinson Family YMCA

Alliant Consulting is proud to have been part of the new Jackie Robinson Family YMCA project. Opening their doors to the Southeast San Diego community in October, 2017, the newly renovated and expanded YMCA facility includes a sports complex, gym, pools and community center. This $10 million, 18-month construction project was funded in part by the Proposition 84 grant measure which required the use of the YMCA’s Labor Compliance Program (LCP). Alliant Consulting enforced the LCP to successfully oversee proper prevailing wages were paid and all laws followed by 78 contractors on the project. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to work on a project in our own backyard that means so much to the local community.

Project Name: Portola High School
Client Name: Irvine Unified School District
Description: Construction of New High School

Alliant Consulting is honored to have provided labor compliance management services on Irvine Unified School District’s fifth comprehensive high school, Portola High. This $157 million, 2-year construction project spanning 43 acres of land was constructed to meet criteria established by the Collaborative for High Performance Schools. This project features state-of-the-art academic facilities, the latest and most advanced educational technologies and a variety of extraordinary amenities. Over the course of the project, Alliant Consulting performed labor compliance oversight on 160 contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with California’s prevailing wage laws and regulations. We are proud to have been part of such an extraordinary project.

Project Name: Cougar Park
Client Name: City of Covina
Description: Construction of Park & Community Garden
Location: Covina, CA

Alliant Consulting is pleased to have been a part of the City of Covina’s 2015 addition to their community, Cougar Park. The City of Covina received Proposition 84 funding for the construction of this project, requiring the use of the City’s Labor Compliance Program (LCP) developed and enforced by Alliant Consulting. This $2 million park project was brought to life over the course of 21 months with the help of 12 contractors and members of the community. The park amenities include a small community center, children’s playground, splash pad and water spray feature, community garden and picnic area. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to work with the City of Covina on the Cougar Park project.

Project Name: Zephyr Homeless Veterans Housing
Client Name: Affirmed Housing
Description: Adaptive Reuse of Motel to Affordable Veteran Housing
Location: San Diego, CA

Alliant Consulting is honored to be a part of the ongoing Zephyr Homeless Veterans permanent supportive housing project. This adaptive reuse project will be completed over 10 to 12 months, bringing essential affordable housing to 84 low income or homeless veterans in the San Diego area. The $9 million rehabilitation of an existing motel includes reconfiguring room layouts to create 84 studio apartments with all new flooring and wall surfaces, updated bathrooms redesigned for accessibility and water efficiency, and newly added kitchenettes. Over the course of the project, Alliant Consulting will ensure contractor compliance with both State and Federal prevailing wage laws and regulations for this project with local and HUD funding.

Project Name: CSU Dominguez Hills Science and Innovation Center
Client Name: C.W. Driver
Description: Construction of New Science Building
Location: Carson, CA

Alliant Consulting is excited to be a part of the 2019 addition to the CSU Dominguez Hills campus, the new Center for Science and Innovation. This $60 million project broke ground in fall of 2017 and is set to be completed in roughly 2 years. The 91,000 square foot instructional and research building will include a fabrication lab, high-tech classrooms, collaborative workspaces and labs for K-12 teacher training, all geared toward training students for careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. We are thankful to have the opportunity to work with C.W. Driver on this project, overseeing 70 contractors and subcontractors.
